An Enscape alternative with no material or lighting setup
Enscape renders in real time inside your modeling software, but the model needs its materials and lighting set up. In RendScene you send a screenshot or the model and pick a style; the AI does the rest.
- Nothing to install: runs in the browser, on any computer
- No graphics card, no setting up lights and materials: the AI does it
- 5 free renders to try, no credit card

What Enscape is
Enscape is a real-time rendering plugin that runs inside SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Archicad and Vectorworks. The image comes from the model itself, as long as it has materials and lighting set up, and depends on your computer’s graphics card.
RendScene vs Enscape
Enscape details taken from its official website. See what each one asks of you before the image is ready.
| RendScene | Enscape | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | AI rendering in the browser | Real-time rendering plugin inside your modeler |
| Installation | None: opens in the browser | Install the plugin in SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Archicad or Vectorworks |
| Computer | Any, even a basic laptop; it doesn’t use your graphics card | NVIDIA or AMD GPU with at least 4 GB (8 GB recommended); on Mac, an M-chip (2020 or newer) |
| Operating system | Windows, Mac, Linux and phone (in the browser) | Windows and macOS (no Revit on Mac) |
| How you get the image | Send a screenshot, photo, floor plan or 3D model and pick a style; the AI handles light and materials | You set up materials, lights and assets inside the model |
| Time to the first image | A few minutes, no scene setup | Instant, once the model has materials and lighting set up |
| Edits and video | Describe or point at what to change and the AI redoes it; short videos from the render that you can join in sequence | High: materials, assets, virtual reality and animation (Envision on the Collection plan) |
| Price | 5 free renders; plans from US$ 29/month (100 credits, about US$ 0.29 per render) | Yearly license costs more than RendScene’s starter plan, plus a PC with a graphics card; free trial |
